About Bear Roofing

Bear Roofing and Exteriors Inc. was founded in 1999 by Greg Fry. However, our inception began several years before then. Greg spent many years teaching mathematics in the White Bear Lake school district before venturing in the roofing industry. He began by reshingling houses with fellow teachers during summer breaks. Summer after summer, Greg executed exemplary roofing projects, building a great reputation and customer base that continued to grow. In 1999, Greg saw that roofing was no longer a summer hobby and decided to open Bear Roofing and Exteriors Inc. 

Although Greg continued teaching and running the business concurrently for 10 years, he left his teaching career in 2009 to fully focus on the roofing business and give clients his undivided attention. Greg Fry is married to Kris and they are blessed with one daughter, Delanny.

Meet the Team

Bob is second in command here at Bear Roofing and Exteriors Inc. Bob has a corporate background working in the printing business for 30 years before jumping in and finding his passion helping his high school best friend, Greg, with growing Bear Roofing and Exteriors. Bob enjoys creating standards and procedures to ensure that we have the best client care in town.

When Bob is not at work he enjoys making music, cooking up a batch of his famous spaghetti sauce or enjoying time with his wife and two twin sons.

Joel has been in the construction business for15+ years. Before coming to Bear Roofing and Exteriors Inc, he worked in the building supply industry so he is very knowledgeable about the different options and products that exist. Joel enjoys using his knowledge to make sure we at Bear Roofing and Exteriors Inc are always up to date on the newest building materials on the market

When Joel is not at work he enjoys being a hockey dad to his two girls, traveling up north and cold beer.

Cody previously worked as an insurance adjuster and is very knowledgeable in the insurance claim process. Cody enjoys getting to know each of his clients and figuring out how he can help them best and reach their goals.

When Cody is not at work he enjoys going to the cabin, hunting with his dog, Kona and working on projects at his house.

Marti has been the Office Manager for Bear and Roofing Exteriors, Inc since 2012. She enjoys getting to know each of our clients and always has a smile on her face. She runs this office and knows how to keep everyone else in line!

When Marti is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, watching hockey, and traveling to warmer climates!
