Benefits of Gutters
Properly installed gutters direct water away from your home, protecting your foundation, basement, and siding from costly water damage. A well-maintained gutter system helps prevent issues like mold, mildew, dry rot, and cracking or bulging basement walls, while also reducing the risk of insect infestations around your home.
Beyond protecting your structure, gutters also help preserve your landscaping by controlling where rainwater flows. Instead of draining directly onto plants, walkways, driveways, or decking, water is safely directed away—helping reduce soil erosion and keep your exterior spaces in better condition year-round. Our team installs, repairs, and maintains gutter systems built to handle Minnesota’s heavy rains and freeze-thaw cycles, giving you lasting peace of mind.

Gutter Guards
Installing gutter guards enhances your gutter systems by preventing debris from gathering and clogging your gutters. As leaves, branches, and other debris gather in unprotected gutters, they clog and prevent water from properly draining away from your home. Water can then pool in your gutters and overflow. Not only does this add more weight to your gutters, but it can also damage your roof.
Gutter guards allow a regular flow of water, which prevents clogs and keeps downspouts functioning properly.
Debunking Common Myths About Gutters
The “Maintenance Free” Myth
Gutters guards are not high-maintenance, but they do require minimal maintenance to work properly. While our systems are effective at shedding debris, annual maintenance is recommended to make sure they do not get clogged.
The “One-Piece Systems Are Better” Myth
Two-piece gutter systems are made up of a gutter trough and a removable hood. This design is the only way to ensure that that the flashing properly overlaps into the gutter. If the hood is damaged due to hail, windstorm, or branches, it can be easily removed and replaced, unlike in one-piece systems where the entire system will need to be replaced. The two-piece is also larger than standard one-piece systems, which increases water capacity.
The “Heavier Aluminum is Better” Myth
The only difference between the standard aluminum and the heavier aluminum is the weight. Anything that would cause a dent on the lighter type will have the same impact on the heavier type. The real strength of aluminum is based on its tensile strength. Our gutter coil provides higher tensile strength than the coils used to manufacture most gutters.
The “Hood Will Blow Away” Myth
Our system’s two-piece design has a snap-lock system that tightly secures the hood in place. This ensures that the hood will not blow away.
